Try before you pay
14 days to evaluate before you pay. Use the trial to decide whether Simplifyte is right for your organisation. The 14-day trial includes the product features generally available under the Elite plan for evaluation. Custom capacity, implementation services and other bespoke arrangements are not included unless expressly agreed. A trial does not create a paid charge unless you later select or accept a paid plan and provide the payment authorisation or agreement required for that subscription.
Scope
This Policy applies to subscriptions purchased directly from Simplifyte unless an Order, partner agreement, marketplace, app store or other purchase channel states different cancellation or refund terms.
Free Forever and the 14-day free trial
Free Forever does not carry a subscription fee and therefore does not create a subscription-fee refund entitlement.
The 14-day free trial gives eligible new customers an opportunity to evaluate the product features generally available under the Elite plan before purchasing a subscription. Custom capacity, branded workspace arrangements, implementation services and other bespoke or negotiated services are not included unless expressly agreed. The trial is not tied to the plan the Customer may later choose. Unless expressly disclosed otherwise at signup, the trial does not automatically create a paid subscription or charge without the Customer's later selection or acceptance of a paid plan and the required payment authorisation or agreement.
Paid subscriptions
Once a paid subscription begins, subscription fees are generally non-refundable. Customers should use the available trial period to evaluate the Service before committing to a paid subscription.
Refunds or credits may nevertheless be available where required by applicable law, where Simplifyte confirms a billing error, where an applicable Order expressly provides a refund right, or where another section of this Policy applies.
Renewals
Subscription renewals are generally non-refundable once the renewal term begins, except where required by applicable law, where Simplifyte has made a billing error, or where an applicable Order expressly provides otherwise.
Customers are responsible for cancelling renewal before the applicable renewal date. Cancellation of renewal does not normally terminate access immediately; access continues until the end of the already-paid term unless another arrangement applies.
Mid-term cancellation
Cancelling a paid plan prevents the next renewal but does not ordinarily create a pro-rata refund or credit for unused time remaining in the current subscription term.
Upgrades and plan changes
Plan upgrades may take effect immediately and may be charged or prorated as disclosed at the time of the change. Downgrades, where supported, normally take effect at the next renewal or as otherwise disclosed at the time of change.
Add-ons and usage-based services
Custom, enterprise and negotiated subscriptions
Custom pricing, branded arrangements, migrations, special support commitments, enterprise subscriptions and negotiated commercial terms are governed by the applicable Order or agreement.
Billing errors and duplicate charges
If you believe you were charged incorrectly, charged twice, charged after a valid cancellation, or invoiced for an amount that does not match your applicable Order or plan, contact Simplifyte promptly. Where Simplifyte confirms a billing error, we will correct the account and issue an appropriate refund or credit.
Material service failure
If Simplifyte materially fails to provide a paid Service and does not remedy the issue within a reasonable period after receiving sufficient notice, any credit, refund or other remedy will be determined under the Terms of Service, applicable Order and applicable law.
Refund or billing requests
Requests should be submitted by the Workspace Owner, authorised administrator or billing contact through Simplifyte's available support channel. We may ask that the request be sent from an email address associated with the workspace or billing record.
Approved refunds
Approved refunds are generally returned to the original payment method or through another legally and operationally appropriate method. Processing time may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.
Fraud and refund abuse
Simplifyte may refuse or limit a discretionary refund where there is reasonable evidence of fraud, promotional abuse, intentional misuse of the Service or a material violation of the Terms. This does not affect rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Mandatory legal rights
Nothing in this Policy limits any refund, cancellation or consumer right that cannot be excluded or restricted under applicable law.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes apply prospectively unless applicable law requires otherwise.
